Research
Father Allard’s research interests include Dominican spirituality during the medieval and renaissance periods, especially the work of the Dominican friars in the city of Florence during the 1400s.In addition, the intersection between spirituality and social criticism, as found in the writings of Dorothy Day and the Trappist monk, Thomas Merton, has been of interest.
